I saw the movie, “The Blind Side” last night. If you are looking for a feel-good movie that will allow you to leave with hope in Hollywood – this is definitely the movie to watch. I want my kids to see it as soon as it comes out on DVD! Gerald and I loved it!

Hi everyone!  I know, I know, I know.  Not a lot of posts on here, but I guess I haven’t really made the effort to update at all.  Just thought I’d let everyone in on my resolutions so that I can achieve some of them (hopefully all of them).

1. Exercise 6 days a week (as of 1/22 I’m right on course!)

2. Be able to run 5K’s again (less than 40 minutes) by May

3. Say my personal prayers everyday

4. Organize and put into photo albums all our pictures that have been printed (done by Oct. 2010)

It would be helpful to me, if I am to talk to you this year, that you would ask me about these resolutions.  It will give us something to talk about.  Here’s to 2010!

It’s Friday the 13th!  Happy Valentine’s Day Eve!  I am getting ready to go over and help at my 2nd graders Valentine’s party.  He’s all about the love, so I brought him a real sappy book entitled, “Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch” by Eileen Spinelli.  My girlfriend, who loves Halloween, is going to play “Werewolves” at her 6th grade son’s Valentine’s Party.  Why can’t I be her?  It would be so much more fun!  Valentine’s Day is highly over-rated.  My oldest daughter, Brittany, was born on that day in 1994- it’s her birthday!  I’m going to celebrate that!

Yesterday a very dear friend died.  He took me places I had never been before.  He had a lot of character, funny quirks that made him memorable, and he always got me where I needed to be.  Sadly, his death was due to an oversight on my part, in which he popped his cork, and spilled his guts all over the floor.  I’m talking about my 1994 Ford Aerostar van.  I am very sad about the demise of my dear friend, but I hope he’s happy in that “giant junk yard in the sky.”
